Things that go ‘bump in the night’ were not unusual at Saint John’s Youthy on Sunday night, 2nd November. With a theme around being scary, the young people arrived dressed as everything from zombies to witches. There followed two hours of crazy carnival fun planned by Naomi Tomlinson.
The young people plunged their hands into mystery boxes to identify the disgusting contents, knocked piles of ‘bat covered’ tin cans over with bean bags, played skeleton hoopla and much more.
Prizes were distributed as the night grew darker, and following a supper of snakes and cakes a murder victim was discovered and a murder solved.
With a funny rendition of ‘heads shoulders knees and toes’ enjoyed by all, the night was complete, and the youths departed into the darkness with broad smiles peeping from below their witches hats.
