Shildon AFC Juniors under 14s continued their great start to the season with a thumping 13-2 away victory at Guisborough Town. Noah McCourt bagged two quickfire goals in the opening 3 minutes, which were quickly followed by a close range header from Steven Dawson after Adam Campbell’s great cross.
Jack Mortimer added a fourth goal before a rare defensive lapse resulted in a goal conceded from a corner. Half time 4-1.
After the break Steven Dawson, Blake Milner & Chloe Geary all scored a goal apiece, with 2 strikes each for Noah, Jack and Adam Campbell to round off this latest emphatic victory.
Cain Smith was awarded the man-of-the-match. A great team performance by the whole squad to maintain their position at the top of the league.
