Ferryhill Town Council is pleased to announce that the latest group to benefit through its Members Initiative Fund (MIF) is Ferryhill Rangers Football Club.
In a recent cheque presentation held at Ferryhill Town Hall, Councillor Paul Mountford presented a representative from the football club, Jeff Spooner, with a cheque for £450 from his Members Initiative Fund allocation.
Funding will be used to enable the Football Club, who play their matches at the Dean Bank A167 pitch, to purchase new football strips, which will help provide the team with a sense of identity.
Cllr Mountford said: “I am delighted to be able to support Ferryhill Rangers FC.
“The Members’ Initiative funding will enable the club to purchase much needed football strips, ensuring that the team are able to retain a sense of identity and professionalism.”
