An artist from Dayton Ohio, USA, has donated two of his pieces to a Shildon cat charity.
James Oberle and his wife Gilda are fellow cat lovers and are online friends with the Cats R Us charity, based on Dabble Duck Industrial Estate.
The talented artist, who has shown and sold his sketches throughout the USA, New Zealand, Australia and Canada, handed over the spectacular artworks in order to raise funds for the charity.
The limited editions, which depict native Americans merging into their ‘big cat’ spirits, are signed by James and will be auctioned to help needy cats in our area.

Bids start from £45 for each picture and the auction will be closed on Monday 1st December 2014.
