The Shildon Pool League has recently ended, with The Royal George B team winners, and the Institute runners-up. The Captains winners were the Institute – Doubles winners Royal George B, with the overall winners The Institute.
The best player from each team were; Three Tuns – P. Rutter, Loco – E. Wilkinson, Timothy Hackworth – K. Ross, Grey Horse – A. Bell, Royal George A – J. Hollick, Royal George B – B. Harwood, Old Shildon Club – J. Gash, Elm Road Club – M. Harbottle, Institute – S. Bone.
Team K/O winners were Royal George B, runners-up Grey Horse. Singles K/O winner was C. Brass Royal George B, runner-up T. Louden Royal George B.
Doubles K/O winners were A. Parsley & D. Gittins Institute, runners-up S. Bone & J. Dinning Institute. The player with most wins was T. Louden Royal George B.
The presentation night will be held on Friday 7th March at the Institute, with Triple Vision appearing alongside a disco. Cover charge on the door is £3.
On Monday 10th March the General Meeting will be held at the Institute from 8pm. All teams who wish to enter the league should go along.
