Loyalty card scheme competition

Loyalty-scheme‘Shildon Businesses’, now recognised as ‘Shildon Chamber of Trade’ is looking at a number of ways to work with the community and increase footfall in the town.

The businesses taking part have been working hard on numerous projects for the past 6 months, including the introduction of a Loyalty Card scheme.

Businesses taking part in the scheme, which will be launched at the annual Christmas Procession, will offer discounts and special deals to members.

With this being very much a community project, the design was always intended to be produced by the children of the town via a competition.

This competition is now being rolled out through all four Shildon schools, and there will be a winner for both the Primary and Secondary school categories, who will each receive £50.

An overall winner will then be chosen for the final card design, and the youngster who designs it will receive a further £50 as well as a £150 donation to their school and the very first loyalty card off the press.

Entry forms are available now from all four schools in the town, and the deadline for submissions is 24th October.
