Caribbean support for Shildon!

TrinidadA Shildon fan has shown his support for his home town all the way from the sunny Caribbean!

Michael Cook joined the Royal Navy in 1971 where he served for 34 years and lived in Somerset with his wife Wendy and two sons Adam and Richard.

He then went on to spend five years on Search and Rescue duties in Shannon, Ireland, before moving to Blida, Algeria, where he spent three years teaching SAR to Algerian air crew. He now lives and teaches on the beautiful island of Trinidad, teaching SAR to Trinidadian Aircrew.

As an avid follower of Shildon AFC, Michael keeps up to date on the local news by reading the Town Crier online and sent these photos of support in anticipation of the team’s replay against Norton on Wednesday (29th) in the FA Cup!
