Pupils design pumpkins for Sainsbury’s

PumpkinsSainsbury’s supermarket in Bishop Auckland held a Halloween Pumpkin Design competition with Timothy Hackworth School recently.

All year 3 pupils from the school submitted a design with the top three receiving prizes. In first place was Cameron from 3T who won a full Halloween costume. The runners-up were Grace in 3H and Chloe in 3T who each received a big tub of sweets.

The Tu clothing department decided to hold the competition as a way of working with the local community.

A spokesperson commented, “Well done to all the children who took part, they all did a great job. All of the children’s designs will be on display in Sainsbury’s until Saturday the 1st of November. Please feel free to pop in for a look.”
