Sixteen games were played by the St Mary’s teams last weekend, with a mixed bag of results.
The Under 7 Kings started the weekend off with a terrific home win against Norton & Stockton Blacks, with goals from man-of-the-match Joel Butler (2), Jay Bulch (4), Tyler Richardson (4) and Conner Gillan.
The Under 7 Aces also had a great away win away at Norton & Stockton Ambers, with goals from Jamie Wright (3) and Jayden Bowes (3).
The Under 8 Kings had a tremendous win against Billingham with goals from man-of-the-match James Whales (4) and Cobie Woods.
The Under 8 Aces again had a great win away at Greatham with goals from man-of-the-match Finlay Rose, Dylan Robson, Liam Cunningham (2) and Charlie Berry (2).
The Under 9 Aces had one of their best performances of the season against a very good Newton Aycliffe team with Aaron Roe scoring with Fin McGuire man-of-the-match.
The Under 10 Kings drew away at Darlington Youth to keep their unbeaten run intact. Man-of-the-match was Daniel Lowther.
The Under 10 Aces had a close game against Billingham losing out in the last minute, with James Petty man-of-the-match.
The second game was a complete change of team with man-of-the-match George Tinkler and Jake Heighington performing well, with Kyle Emery scoring.
The Under 11 Kings played Whinney Banks in a very close game but lost 4-2 in the end, with goals from Joseph Foster and Luke Brownless along with Luke Wharton man-of-the-match.
The Under 11 Aces lost their unbeaten record in the league against Hardwick Youth with Robbie Vickers man-of-the-match.
The Under 12s played away at Thirsk falcons and had a good 2-2 draw, with goals from Jack Purdham and Jack Wood.
The Under 13 Aces had a good 3-2 win over Greatham to stay top of the first division with goals from man-of-the-match Liam Robson, Lewis Pearson and Noah Ellis.
The Under 13 Kings had an exciting 3-3 draw away at Richmond, with goals from Charlien Ellison (2) and Wissem Azzouzi.
The Under 14s had a great 5-1 win over Mount Pleasant Rangers with a superb hat-trick from Zak Holywell and one each from Carl Stout and Jake Price.
The Under 15s played against Boro Rangers at home in an excellent display ending in a 0-0 draw, with Johnson Ballan and Joe Bates both hitting the woodwork, with Dominic Curl and Ellis Tait joint man-of-the-match.
The Under 16 Kings lost out to Durham County Under 16s in a very close game in the county cup, losing 1-0 with James Hauxwell having an excellent game in goal for St Mary’s.
The Under 16 Aces had an excellent 4-1 win over Greatham after going a goal behind wih goals from Thomas Wilkinson (2), Brett Davison and Alex Goundry.
The Under 12 girls got to meet and train with professional Futsal player Daniel Cappellaro, who is in England from Perth, Australia playing Futsal for Middlesbrough Futsal club.
