Dear Editor,

We would just like to thank you for advertising our M.S. charity function for October 10 in the Town Crier last week, it was very much appreciated.

All 180 tickets were sold before the event, so unfortunately those without a ticket could not be admitted due to fire regulations, but those who attended really enjoyed the evening, dancing to music from the Travelin Band and Downtown Disco.

Our Tombola was very popular as was the grand raffle, with money prizes of £100 and £50 and lots of other prizes including food hampers, beauty product hampers, bottles of alcohol, a ‘Forget me Knot’ flower arrangement and much much more.

The total raised for the Multiple Sclerosis Society on the night was £2045.80. Thanks to those who attended, those who donated and all those who helped organise this worthwhile event.

Special thanks to Phil Hall and the committee at Elm Road Club for hosting the event once again.

Yours sincerely,
Sylv, Jill, Pam & Joan
