Holly Lodge residents have a new visitor

puppyResidents and staff at Shildon’s Holly Lodge Care Home had a lovely afternoon when Carrie Graham, a domestic at the Home, took the newest member of her family to work. Olly, who is a Springer x Collie and is 9 weeks-old, was a big hit with the residents who loved fussing over him. Carrie will be taking Olly in on a regular basis to give the residents the chance to get to know him well as he grows up.

More fun was to be had when Sharon Rammage, Activities coordinator at Holly Lodge, organised a fun afternoon for residents to take part in decorating and icing biscuits.

“Lots of the residents took part with some really lovely results and the biscuits tasted good too!” said Sharon.
