Kirk Merrington Craft Makers would like to say “a great big thank you” to everyone who supported, their Lewy Body Society Craft Fair on 5 October.
A spokesperson said: “We give thanks to Saks, Coates Butchers and the One Stop Shop for providing great prizes, the Blind Baker for her delicious cakes and bakes and the public stall holders for their support.
“A big thank you to all who crafted items to sell, including the scarves which made up the giant scarf, which measured an amazing 163 metres and wrapped our community centre 1.75 times.
“This winged its way to Manchester to join others to wrap the Central Hall for the A Scarf For Lewy event on October 17th.
“Our biggest thanks are to all of you wonderful people who came and supported our event and made the fair a great success.
“We raised an amazing £1,028 for the Lewy Body Society.
“Thank you one and all.”
