St Luke’s Church in Ferryhill would be very grateful for donations of fresh fruit and vegetables to help with the decoration of the church for its Harvest celebrations.
“If you can spare any produce at all, please drop it off at the church on Saturday 28 September between 10.30am and 12 noon,” urged a spokesperson.
“We are also collecting toiletries and feminine hygiene products,” they added, “to distribute to local aid organisations. If you can help in any way, please also drop these off at church at the same time, thank you.”
