Ferryhill Town Council would like to thank everyone who took part in this year’s Christmas Lights Competition.
There were some fabulous entries and while the judges found it extremely difficult to decide, the winners have been announced as follows –
1st Place – £100 ASDA Voucher
Maxine Daniel, 12 Dean Park
2nd Place – £50 ASDA Voucher
Lynn & Geoff Wall, Cleves Court
3rd Place – £25 ASDA Voucher
Nancy & Andrew Dowd, East Howle Caravan Site
Town Mayor, Cllr Carole Atkinson and Chair of the Town Council’s Events Committee, Cllr Curtis Bihari, who carried out the judging of the competition said: “It’s always great to see residents getting into the festive spirit and decorating their homes with Christmas displays.
“As judges we are really impressed by the effort that many people have gone to this year.
“It was an incredibly difficult decision to choose the winners, and we would like to convey a big thank you to everyone who entered the Competition.
“On behalf of Ferryhill Town Council we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.”
