Cockton Hill Infant School held a Memorial Service for the children to remember the soldiers who fought bravely and lost their lives in various wars. Each of the children had painted a poppy on a stone and, during the service, they placed the stones to make the shape of a cross in the school’s wildlife garden. They then held a minute’s silence and said a short prayer.
