On Friday 24th October the Centurion Chapter of networking group BNI organised a Race Night at Chester-Le-Street Golf Club to raise funds for Butterwick Hospice.
The event, which was sponsored by Kimmitt Lettings and Kimmitt & Roberts, was a roaring success, raising over £1,400 for the Hospice.
Fundraiser Laura Douthwaite said, “The race night was a fantastic event and I was overwhelmed by the support of the BNI members and their friends and family. They were all extremely generous both on the night and in the lead up to the event. Many members who could not attend still donated to the Hospice and I would like to thank everyone who was involved in arranging the night.”
James Kimmitt, director of Kimmitt Lettings said, “I am delighted to be able to sponsor this fund raising event for Butterwick Hospice. Kimmitt Lettings is a family owned business and to help a charity who works with families at the most daunting and difficult time of their lives is a great privilege.
“We work with many family members who have had the responsibility of a loved one’s property to deal with. We understand the stress of this responsibility and believe Butterwick Hospice provide an invaluable service.”
Butterwick Hospice would like to thank BNI Centurion, Kimmitt Lettings and Chester-Le-Street Golf Club for their support.
