Bishop Auckland Town Team with the support of Bishop Auckland Town Council have captured the day the Olympic Torch passed through the town, with a gallery of photographs.
The display can be viewed at the Town Hall until 19th September.
The gallery is entitled ‘Where were you when the Torch came through?’
There is an opportunity to buy copies, and full details are on site at the Town Hall Library .
The Bishop Auckland Town Team has also commissioned local water colour artist Eric Thompson to produce a Bishop Auckland Torch Olympic Scroll.
The Scroll depicts snap shots of the occasion as well as having all the torch bearers featured within the work. The scroll will be permanently on display in The Town Hall.
