Byerley Road Pre-School was recently shortlisted for the ‘Tesco Stronger Starts’ funding campaign for its project to support creative, healthy children.
As a result, the school has a Token Box at Bishop Auckland Tesco where shoppers can drop their blue tokens into the box to show their support for the school’s project.
“The voting comes to an end in-store on 14 January, so the school would greatly appreciate, and would be very grateful if you would continue to pop your blue tokens in,” said a spokesperson.
Winning projects are eligible to receive grant funding for their organisation from the Tesco Stronger Starts scheme of up to £1,500.
