Funding is available for activities for children young people and families during the February half term.
The scheme aims to support local community groups and organisations based in the Bishop Auckland and Shildon AAP area to deliver enriching holiday activities during the school holidays including healthy food.
Applicants can apply for amounts over £500 and delivery must take place during the school holidays. However please note that funding is limited, and applicants are encouraged to maximise match funding opportunities.
Applicants must provide face to face enriching activities and at least one healthy meal (breakfast, lunch or tea) that meets school food standards and food safety requirements.
Application forms can be requested from Bishop Auckland and Shildon AAP by calling 03000 268 663 or emailing bishopshildonaap[@]durham[.]gov[.]uk.
All fully completed applications and supporting documents must be received by Wednesday 10 January at 12 noon.
Note that individuals or profit-making organisations cannot be funded. If you require any further information, contact a member of the team.
