Residents of Hirst Court came together at their Lunch Club in the community lounge to to enjoy a VE Day celebration lunch, organised by STAR Fundraising Group.
“It was a fantastic celebration lunch,” said a spokesperson, “and it was nice to see our local county councillors Pete Molloy and Liz Maddison and town councillor Clive Maddison pop in for a chat and a bite to eat.
“Thanks to Livin for the funding that supported this community event and to STAR Fundraising Group for organising it.”
