Eight points from their last four games have seen Bishop Auckland FC surge out of the relegation places in Northern Premier League East Division.
After suffering a late equaliser at Sherwood Colliery, the Two Blues followed that result by grabbing a 90th minute winner at North Ferriby, having come from behind to record a confidence-boosting 1-2 win.
Matty Tymon levelled early in the second half after Josh Dennett had given the home side the lead just before the break and just as it looked like another stalemate was on the cards, up popped Andrew May to grab his goal and all three points.
Last minute goals appear to be the order of Bishops games at the moment and the third in sucessive games was another that went against the Two Blues, this time against high-flying Dunston.
After a goalless first half, the game sparked into life in the second period with Dane Burlace (54) opening the scoring for the hosts at Heritage Park.
Dunston quickly levelled through David Robinson, but Dale Milburn put the Two Blues back in front in 73 minutes.
The home side almost held on for a notable result, but a last gasp equaliser from Scott Robson deprived them of a second win in succession.
However, they made up for any disappointment with a lightning start last Saturday against bottom side, Ossett United, surging into a two goal lead inside eight minutes while recording a first home league win of the season.
Goals in 6 and 7 minutes from Howard and Milburn delivered a one-two the visitors never looked like recovering from.
A third in 74 minutes from Tymon ensured there would be no late nerves in this one.
Bishops then travelled to Garforth where they extended their unbeaten league run to five games, coming from a goal down at half time, courtesy of Matt Savage (23) to earn a point through Cyril Giraud (66).
This weekend, Bishops host second-bottom Sheffield before a testing visit to 5th place Bradford (Park Avenue) the following Saturday.
That is followed by a midweek Durham Senior Cup tie against Birtley Town at Heritage Park before another league road trip to Cleetorpes Town on 9 November.
