Tudhoe Community Centre welcomes Town Mayor

Over forty children took part in Easter fun and food sessions.

Tudhoe Community Centre was pleased to welcome Spennymoor Town Mayor, Cllr Liz Maddison and her Consort Cllr Clive Maddison to judge our Easter Egg Competition during the Easter school holidays.

Thanks to funding from Livin and Fund and Food County Durham, over forty children took part in Easter fun and food sessions at the Community Centre.  Families with children aged 6-12 years and their younger siblings enjoyed sports, games, crafts, a disco and food.

When the schools go back, the Centre’s regular term time youth sessions will return, Mondays for 6-12 years and Tuesdays for 6-10 years, St Davids Close. Both sessions 5pm until 6.30pm with the SYACA Youth Team and Stoker Football Coaches. The Youth Club is ยฃ1 per session per child which includes teatime food, activities and space to meet and make friends.
