Team Solan launches Volunteer Drive to support local people affected by cancer.
Team Solan is inviting members of the community to make a meaningful difference by joining its upcoming Volunteer Drive, taking place on Wednesday 4th February, from 3.30pm to approximately 6.30pm, at the charity’s Support Hub in Spennymoor.
The Volunteer Drive is an open and informal event designed for anyone interested in giving their time, skills or experience to help support people affected by cancer across the region.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from each area of the Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust’s work, learn more about the vital services the charity provides, and explore the wide range of volunteer roles available.
From practical support and fundraising to behind-the-scenes help, volunteering with Team Solan offers a chance to be part of a compassionate community making a real impact on the lives of local people during some of their most challenging moments.
The event is open to anyone curious about volunteering, whether they can commit regularly or just want to help when time allows. Visitors are encouraged to come along, ask questions, and discover how they could get involved.
The event will take place at: Team Solan Support Hub, 26-28 High Street, Spennymoor, DL16 6DB.
