The recent Spennymoor Senior Citizens Town Trip to Redcar was once again a great success.
Pick up points were: Ken Warnes, Princess Court, Ash Tree, Moors Tavern, Durham Road, Tudhoe Vic Club, Town Hall, (Rear), Catherine Close, Half Moon Lane, Butterby Grange, Barnfield Road.
A spokesperson said, “Everyone had a lovely day, and most of them enjoyed the obligatory fish and chips.
“This yearly trip was fully funded by Spennymoor Town Council. 123 senior citizens from Spennymoor, Tudhoe and Low Spennymoor, were most grateful for the day at the seaside. Thank you to Myra Smith for organising and her supporters Julie and Josie.”
