It’s almost Sunday 12th June when the Rotary, Cycling and Rugby Clubs of Bishop Auckland will be organising a 20-mile ride and family fun day.
The local event, part of a wider, national event, will run from 10am-2pm and all money raised will go in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.
The ride will be held at the Rugby Club at West Mills and promises to be a day of fun and fellowship, while raising money for a very worthy cause.
The 20-miler will take place along roads and cycleways, starting and finishing at the Rugby Club, with an entry fee of £10 per person or £15 per family, to include a complimentary event t-shirt (extra t-shirts will be available at £5 each).
There will also be a family ride/fun day taking place in the rugby ground.
A wide range of bike-related activities for all the family will be available.
There will be other stalls and attractions, including a barbecue and refreshments. Entry to the fun day is free.
