This years Spennymoor poppy badge, commissioned by a local company to raise money for the Royal British Legion’s (RBL) Poppy appeal, is going on general sale from Monday 23rd September.
Managing Director of TA Plastics John Humphreys said: “As part of our company’s charity fund raising efforts, we invited British Army veteran Pete Molloy to design the 2024 poppy badge. Again we are delighted with this year’s badge. Thank you Pete.”
The badges cost £3 each with all profits going to the RBL’s Poppy Appeal and can be purchased from: Devere’s Barber Shop, The Black Horse, Hockings Butchers, The Sweet Shop, The Studio, The Volti, Brewers Arms, Spennymoor Town Football Club, Penny Gill, KGH club and Advanced Windows.
