The 11th Bishop Auckland Bribar 2 star took place on Sunday 12th February with 70 players from all over England taking part, but the event still saw some strong performances from the home players.
Ben Mold started the day by achieving runners-up spot in the u11 Boys.
Ashton and Halle Tallentire, playing in their first ranking event, both reached 4th places finishes.
The under 13’s girls saw both Anya Milne and Amy Mold, who had a great win in the group over higher ranked Katie Bates, reach the quarter finals of the main event before losing to the two eventual finalists.
Luke Mitchell reached the quarter finals of the under 13’s while the plate event saw Alex Robinson come runner up, beating higher ranked Sam Lowe in the quarter finals.
Sean Stobart did really well and just missed out on a place in the final, going down in the semis having beaten Ben Mold in the quarters.
After a slow start to the day, Troy Maddison found himself in the plate event and made up for it by only dropping one set on his way to the final where he came back from 2 -1 down to take the title.
He nearly ended up playing Adam Hanby, who lost in the semis having knocked out Jacob Martindale in the quarters. Kieron Bowes also reached the quarters with Hayden Gilmour, Matt Pearson, and Alex Robinson losing out in the last 16
The Cadet Girls saw Anya again reach the quarter finals with Emma Smith and Amy Mold both losing out in the semis of the plate.
The junior girls saw Emma Smith go one further reaching the final against Courtney Mole with clubmate Courtney winning in a tough five set match.
The junior boys saw players taking it in turns to knock each other out. Lee Tinkler reached the quarters having beaten Ed Sett in the last 16. Jack Jacomb reached the semis beating Max Duffin in the last 16 and then Sam Hume who had been beaten Troy Maddison in the last 16.
The plate saw Alex Dickons, John Waterworth, Hayden Gilmour and Jacob Martindale all bow out in the last 16 with Kieron Bowes and Jamie Collins going one round further to the quarters and Adam Hanby again missing out on a final place at the last hurdle, going down in the semi finals.
