Chance Drama’s production of Matilda Jr The Musical has sold over 750 tickets already, so be sure to get yours soon. Over fifty young people from Chance Drama are performing the famous musical on 20, 21 and 22 July at Ferryhill Sports and Education Centre, with performances every evening at 7pm and an extra matinee at 2pm on the Saturday afternoon.
Lead teacher and director, Robyn Collins said: “Matilda was a musical that all of our members have been wanting to perform for the longest time so we are so pleased to finally be doing it. We have taken inspiration from all the versions that exist of this story; movies, book and stage show, to create this production. The talent within Chance Drama is unbelievable and it’s been such a joy to work with them all again as Director on another fantastic show. Come support a local youth theatre group in Ferryhill.”
