A Bishop Auckland residential care provider for male adults with learning disabilities has been recognised on a national level for its commitment to providing care to neurodiverse service users, with the award being presented by ITV’s Josie Gibson at a glittering ceremony in London.
Resolve Care, which employs a staff team of over 30 people and has bespoke homes in Bishop Auckland and Spennymoor, has achieved the Above and Beyond Team Award (specialist services) in the Stars of Social Care Awards, which ‘shines a light on the stars of social care, paying tribute to the workforce, who through dedication and a commitment to care, go above and beyond to support those who are most vulnerable.’ This is the latest in a string of awards the company has won, having recently been given Advanced Accreditation status by the National Autistic Society.
Anne Graham, Director and Service Manager said: “It’s a real honour to be given this award, which recognises the hard work and dedication of everyone at Resolve Care. We are so proud to provide the highest quality of care to the neurodiverse people we support and it’s a special moment for the team to be given national recognition.”
Both of the company’s homes are inspected by the Care Quality Commission and continue to be rated as ‘Outstanding’.
