There are a number of stalls including cakes, Air Ambulance, Greyhound Rescue, Hays Travel, a raffle, bottle and tombola stalls, a cosmetics stall, books, cd and dvds and the Bus Society.
There will also be an ice cream van in attendance. Street food will be on sale outside the Bay Horse pub. There will be a small number of craft stalls located in the village hall along with tea and coffee.
A number of attractions for children, which will be free, include a bouncy castle with slide, face painting, buzz mascot, unicorn lol doll mascot, candy floss stall, magic show with mini disco, soft play area with ball pit, and balloon modelling.
During the afternoon there will be a dog show with different classes and it is hoped a fire engine and a police van will be present for people to view – so long as no emergencies occur on the day.
A free bus service will be operating from St Clare’s Church to the Jet station at Cobblers and on to Middridge, then to Shildon Bus Station and back to Middridge.
The service will start at 1pm in Aycliffe and will continue all afternoon. All are invited to support the day and hopefully the weather will be kind.
