Through your publication, can I record my thanks to Councillors Peter Atkinson and Curtis Bihari for the wonderful job they organised on the new path to St John’s Church, Kirk Merrington.
I contacted Peter earlier this year about the awful state of the path to get to my husband’s grave, which was in a dreadful, dangerous state. He promised to help and he has. The result is an excellent job done.
Many of the people who have relatives buried in the new church yard will be relieved with the winter ahead to be able to visit our loved ones grave without any danger walking there.
It’s lovely that something promised does happen. Huge thanks, Peter and Curtis. Keep up the good work!
