Ferryhill Athletic kick off their Wearside League Division 1 campaign on Saturday August 12th when they entertain Sunderland RCA Reserves at Dean Bank kick off 2.30pm, reports Fraser Reynolds.
The Latics welcome back most of last season’s players but have added more firepower with the signings of Callum Watkinson and Kieron Richardson. There will be 14 teams in the division this term, many of which are Northern league reserve teams, so it is going to be tough.
Pre-season has gone well with five wins out of six but the real business commences on Saturday, so please get along and give the lads your support.
