Ferryhill Station Royal British Legion Branch would like to thank all who have helped to knit poppies for the Remembrance displays around the area.
“Please keep them coming, if at all possible,” said a spokesperson, “as they will always be used in some way.”
The drop-off points for donations are: Ferryhill Library; Ferryhill Town Hall; Dean Bank Literary Institute Ferryhill Methodist Church (Friday mornings) and Ferryhill Sports and Social Club.
