New Spennymoor Town Mayor, Cllr Liz Maddison and Consort, Cllr Clive Maddison called into Lothian House to wish resident, Walter Bridgewood a happy 90th birthday.
In her first official duty as Mayor, Cllr Maddison presented Walter with a card and hamper to mark his special day.
Cllr Maddison said: “Visiting people on their special day – whether that’s a birthday, wedding anniversary or to recognise special achievements, is one of the best parts of this role and both Clive and I were delighted to share in Walter’s big day and wish him a very happy birthday.”
