The owner of the Red Alligator pub in South Church is reaching out to the community and inviting those with the least to a charity Christmas
Dinner on Christmas Eve.
Dean Foster said: “On Christmas Eve from 12 noon until 3pm we are hosting a charity Christmas dinner for people who are alone or are struggling.
“They can come down, enjoy a hot meal, chat to people, play games and embrace some Christmas spirit.
“We would be delighted if the word could be spread to members of the community that could benefit.
“In addition, anyone able to offer any support would be most welcome, such as donations of food and transport to bring people along.”
