Spectrum skaters Liam and Ella compete in artistic roller skating and have been selected to represent Great Britain in pairs skating at Interland Cup, Dinan, France, writes their coach Tracy Stevens.
Over the last couple of years they have worked hard to learn a new discipline and take part in pair skating. This is the first time they have been selected to compete internationally. It’s very exciting as Great Britain Skate Artistic have not sent any pairs to compete in recent years. We are so proud and happy they have this opportunity.
Liam is 12 and Ella is 14 and to be selected for international is a huge achievement. The Interland Cup competition will be held 28 October to 1 November 2026 which means we have very little time to raise money. In total we estimate the two athletes and two coaches would need around £2531 to cover essential costs without food or any other expenses.
We have created a go fund me page to try to raise £1000 to get started. We are looking for any other ideas, donations or support. Any raffle prizes or fundraising ideas would also be helpful. Any help is most gratefully received.
