Chilton Community College Film Club starts again this month and will be showing Table 19, a comedy drama starring Anna Kendrick, Lisa Kudrow and Stephen Merchant.
Ex-maid of honour Eloise – having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text – decides to hold her head up high and attend her oldest friend’s wedding anyway.
She finds herself seated at the ‘random’ table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets. As everyone’s secrets are revealed, Eloise learns a thing or two from the denizens of Table 19.
Friendships – and even a little romance – can happen under the most unlikely circumstances.
The film, which is for adults only, will be shown on Friday 13th October at 6pm. The entry fee is £3 for a member and £4 for a non-member, which covers refreshments. It costs just £1 to become a Film Club member.
