On Sunday 19 November, Ferryhill Indoor Bowls Club held its annual charity day, with proceeds this year going to the RSPCA, writes Ken Gill.
Having shared the premises for the past couple of months with year 9 students from Ferryhill School, it was great to be joined on the day by pupil, Cody Fannon and teachers, Laura Langdale and Aiden Woods.
Aiden, whose smile lasted all day long said: “Life is too short, go buy the woods, make friends and have a good time!”.
We absolutely agree, Aiden and look forward to seeing you – and lots of newcomers – back soon with your new woods!
