Tudhoe & Spennymoor History Society Meeting

The next meeting of Tudhoe & Spennymoor History Society takes place on Monday 22nd January in St David’s Church Hall, Tudhoe Lane, starting at 7.30pm.

Tea and Coffee now served before the meeting, so arrive earlier if requiring refreshments which carry a £1 charge, with biscuits included.

The guest speaker is the Society’s own John Banham talking about Durham County Advertiser which in 1815 was the only newspaper between York and Newcastle and carried the story of Waterloo and Durhams own crisis a banking collapse.
