Last Saturday (July 12) saw Auckland/Chilton host a team from Backworth in their Croquet North League 1 match, reports Richard Peck.
On a hot day, it was ACC who emerged victorious in a close and exciting contest by 11 games to 7, which puts ACC into second place in the league table.
Wednesday this week sees a friendly fixture from our friends at the Bedale club in North Yorkshire with a return match scheduled for September.
