Chilton Skatepark getting a makeover!

Chilton Bikes, Boards and Brushes project is designed to create ownership and foster inclusion among our younger residents.

As part of the Chilton Bikes, Boards and Brushes project, professional street artist Lewis Hobson is working with young people to paint the skate/cycle park on the Charlie Wayman Football Grounds.

Lewis will be on site during February half term, doing prework on the 23rd and 24th, delivering workshops on the 25th and completing the artwork on the 26th.

20 young people will receive instruction and create their own piece of art on the skatepark, there are still some places are available and they can be booked by contacting Chilton Town Council or by calling into Hutton House to pick-up a registration form.

Residents of all ages are also invited to go along and chat to Lewis to find out about his work and the project.

The next stage will be to work with professional skateboarders and bikers to establish a weekly club.
