Chilton Juniors reap rewards of successful Harvest Festival

Over one hundred senior citizens enjoyed the club’s first harvest festival celebration.

Chilton Juniors Football club held their very first harvest festival earlier this month.

The club welcomed one hundred senior citizens of the town to Chilton Sports and Social Club to enjoy music from the amazing Kelly Punshon, while enjoying afternoon tea, games of bingo, a raffle and much more.

Chilton football club now has 12 teams which all provided food donations towards the day. Everyone went home with a fantastic bag of food and a smile on their face.

“Special thanks goes out to the organisers, volunteers that helped on the day,” said a spokesperson. “Thanks also to the children, Kelly Punshon for the entertainment, the club and bar staff for their support and everyone who kindly donated to make the day a great success.”
