Butterwick Hospice are inviting supporters old and new to join them for Ladies Afternoon Tea on Wednesday 7th August at Redworth Hall Hotel.
This former Jacobean manor house has seen huge changes in ownership and structure and has now entered into the 21st century with high standards and comfort of luxury, alongside an array of historical elements which pay homage to the venue’s colourful past.
Doors open at 1.30pm and you may browse among a selection of arts and craft stalls that include: ladies’ cosmetics, handbags, jewellery, photo frames, pictures, and homemade puddings, biscuits and ginger cake treats to name but a few.
There are a trio of guest speakers who will deliver a programme of varying topics to include “all you need to know on fine dining etiquette along with connoisseur wines”.
The Gingerbread Mam will share her secret award-winning heirloom family recipes while finale comes from “House of Colour” with guest speaker Judy Ward, who will explain why wearing the rights colour for you can give you that healthy vibrant successful and more often younger look.
A sumptuous tea of delicate fine finger sandwiches along with delicious pastries, cakes and fancies and finest English teas and aromatic coffee will be served.
Tickets, costing £17.50 each, must be ordered in advance and can be reserved by telephoning 01388 660644. You also have the option of paying by debit/credit card over the telephone.
Following tea, guests are invited to view the spa pool area or relax in the beautiful landscaped grounds and gardens.
