It was another good weekend for the St Mary’s teams with 10 wins and 3 draws.
The Under 7s had a tremendous 9-0 win against Redcar with scorers Sonny Richardson (4) Dillon Nicholson (3) Kyle Blacklock (1) and Joseph Foster (1).
Man-of-the-match went to Luke Brownless. The friendly was also won by St. Mary’s by 4 goals to 1 with scorers James Cook, James Neil, Luke Brownless and Ryan Burn. Milly player of the match.
The Under 8s also had a great win by 10-0 against Saxon Juniors with Oliver Johnson scoring (6) JJ Readman (1) Jack Wood (1) and Regan Nixon with Jack Purdham being named man-of-the-match. The friendly was an 8-0 win with Jay Waters (3) Jack Wood, Regan Nixon, and Oliver Johnson man-of-the-match.
The Under 9As won 2-1 against Hardwick Youth with Aaron Willoughby scoring 2 and Cameron Martin named man-of-the-match.
The Under 9Bs drew 1-1 against Spraire Lads with Liam Robson scoring and man-of-the-match going to Ben Woodfine. The friendly was a 3-2 loss with man-of-the-match Jack Glasper scoring as well as Liam
Robson. The Under 10As lost 2-0 to Billingham Synthonia while the Under 10Bs had an excellent 2-0 win away at Greatham. Dylan Rutherford and Harry Dinsdale scored and man-of-the-match went to Ben Glasper.
The Under 11s lost 5-1 against Kader with Emily Scarr shooting and a Jack Blacklock deflection scoring for St. Marys. Michael Dinsdale was man-of-the match.
The Under 12As lost 1-0 against South Shields in the County Cup but the U12Bs had a great 2-1 win over South Park Rangers A’s, with Gareth McMahon opening the scoring in the first minute, although South Park Rangers equalised before half time.
Super sub Carl Draper came on and scored the winner in the second half.
Thomas Hewitt came away with the man-of-the-match medal with James Hauxwell having a great game in goal. The Under 13As had a very good 3-2 win over Greatham with Tom Metcalfe, James Pugh and Jacob Collins scoring and Kaylan Jackson man-of-the-match.
The Under 13Bs are improving all the time in their first year together but lost 3-1 against Tollesby Athletic with Ben Auld scoring and Craig Moody given man-of-the-match.
The Under 14As had a very exciting 4-4 draw against Stockton Town with goals from Ryan Matthews (2) Anth Stout and Alex McGrath, with the man-of-the-match going to Tim Hargreaves in goal.
The Under 14Bs won 4-1 at Fishburn with Wayne Whitfield scoring 3 against his old club and Keano Kean scoring the other with a 3-way man-of-the-match going to Dean Hutchfield, Daniel Willoughby and
Wayne Whitfield.
The Under 15s had a fantastic game against Beechwood and St. Marys won 8-0 with goals from James Lupton (3) Ross Hull (2) David Gill, Max Litt and Matthew Hunt with Danny Hardy having a fine game in goal.
The Under 16As had a close 1-1 draw against Brinckburn with Sam Dixon scoring and Lewis rowell man-of-thematch. The Under 16Bs had a tremendous 9-3 win over Washington Utd with goals from Christian Taylor (7) Patrick Stephenson and Nathan Kitch.
