Wildflower garden blooms

Some of the wildflowers at St Paul’s.

Back in June, Spennymoor Town Council prepared an area of the St Paul’s churchyard for a wildflower trial. In recent weeks the wildflower seeds burst into life with a beautiful display of colour.

The Grow at St Paul’s team would like to thank the council for donating the wildflower seeds which are providing an area for pollinators such as bees and other insects.

As the growing season comes to an end the team will be reviewing the success of the trial and explore future management plans for the churchyard.
