Members of the Spennymoor Veterans Breakfast Club (S.V.B.C.) met up in Wetherspoons, Spennymoor on Saturday 11 January for their first breakfast of the New Year.
The veterans discussed going beyond meeting up for a breakfast and they decided on looking at the possibility of revisiting The Last Post Memorial Bar and Don War Memorial Museum and visiting other places such as Eden Camp, Royal Armouries Museum and the National Memorial Arboretum.
The next S.V.B.C. breakfast will take place in Wetherspoons on 15 February and it welcomes all armed forces veterans and serving members of both the regular and reserved forces.
