On Sunday 2nd October, Shildon AFC under 12’s faced Darlington RA at home in the TJFA cup.
Shildon controlled the game from the kick off, with an excellent display of passing football which RA failed to cope with.
Leading 2-0 at half time, the second half was more of the same with Shildon adding a further 6 goals.
The score could have easily have been double figures as the both posts and the crossbar were hit several times.
Goals were from Anthony Jary, Reece Vasey (2), Brandan Woods(2), Michael Gaffney(2) and Kian Dixon.
Jon Joe Bolton was man of the match.
The team are now looking forward to leading out Shildon AFC first team on Saturday 8th October when they take on Newton Aycliffe in a vital derby.
