An all day music event, in aid of Turnaround Homes 3:13, is to be held at the Tut n Shive in Newgate Street on Sunday, May 24th.

Ten local bands will play throughout the day, from 2.00pm until 1.00am, in order to raise money for the charity’s project in Ramshaw.

Landlady, Shelly Walker, says, “People say charity begins at home, but the people that Turnaround are helping had no home and a lot of them would not have survived without the help and support of Harry and the rest of the Turnaround team”.

The purpose of the day is to raise funds for the development and continuation of a farm in Ramshaw where people come to realise their potential and integrate back into society with a sense of self worth.

When Harry Wrigglesworth MBE, founder of the charity, was asked how he felt about the day, he said, “It’s absolutely marvelous that all these young people are coming together to raise money for our cause and is much appreciated.

“The money raised will go towards improving access around the farm allowing people of all ages and abilities to benefit from the project”.

Entry price for the full day will be £2 with all the money going to the charity.
