As part of the fundraising to meet the costs of their appearance at the National Finals in September, Ferryhill Town Band are organising a recycling collection across Ferryhill and surrounding areas – and they would be grateful for your support.
“We’ve prepared a handy guide which explains which items we can accept – please only donate items on this list,” said the band in a post on their Facebook page.
“Please place all recycling in a bin liner and contact us to arrange a time when we can call and collect it.

“The collection will take place on 2nd May and we therefore need to collect all recycling by 1st May.
“Thanks everyone for your help. Recycling is a great thing to do anyway – but by donating through us you can also support the band in our fundraising – and directly help us represent Ferryhill on the national stage!”
Meantime, the band is also seeking donations of any size to help them reach their fundraising goal. Donations would directly support travel, accommodation and competition expenses and can be made by scanning the QR code above.
