Three teams go through in Cup matches

St Mary’s Under 13 Aces played St Francis in the semi-final of the Challenge Cup in their latest fixture. After no goals the match went to penalties with St Mary’s taking the win thanks to goals from Noah Ellis, Jake Ellison and Curtis Layfield along with two great saves from goalkeeper Taylor Bell and Oscar Eckley. The team are now through to the finals, taking place at Rockcliffe Park on May 17th.

The Under 14s also had a great cup win over Shildon in the quarter final of the League Cup, with goals from Lucas Hallimond (2), Carl Stout (2), Jake Price and Mark Parvin to win 6-1.

The Under 11 Kings had a great win over Leven to move into the semi finals of the Cup with goals from Jack Dobson (3), Kyle Blacklock and Harry Mounsey with Luke Wharton man-of-the-match.

The Under 7 Aces had a great game against Mount Pleasant with goals from Jamie Wright (3), Mason Wright (3) and Jayden Bowes (2).

The Under 7 Kings also had a great game against Ferryhill with goal scorers Jay Butch (4), man-of-the-match Tyler Richardson (3), Joel Butler and Connor Gillan.

The Under 8 Aces had a close draw against 21st Allstars.

The Under 10 Aces had a close game also with 21st Allstars with goals from man-of-the-match Danny Shaw and Luke Pinkney.

The Under 10 Kings played Norton & Stockton in another close game, while the Under 11 Aces lost out to Billingham Town in a close game and the Under 12s lost out 1-0 in a very close game with Grangetown.

The Under 13 Kings had a great 2-1 win away at Kader with man-of-the-match going to Alfie Newby and goals from Connor Jackman and Jack Glasper.

The Under 15s had a fantastic 3-2 away win at Tibs with goals from man-of-the-match Ethan Dixon and Cameron Hall-Brown (2).

The Under 16 Kings also had a great 4-2 win over Richmond with a great team performance and a solid defence with Robbie Anderson outstanding in goal and goals from Sam Parnaby (2), Regan Blakey and Liam Robson.
